How much does it cost to wrap a car/truck?

There are way too many variables to give exact pricing for a vehicle wrap when we don't have all the details but industry standards suggest that wrapping your vehicle can cost anywhere from $2500-$5000. Of course there are projects that fall outside of this range on both ends but if you're wanting your car or truck vinyl wrapped be prepared to spend a few thousand dollars.

How much to wrap only the chrome on my vehicle?

Pricing a chrome delete all depends on how much chrome needs to be wrapped, how difficult and how long we think it may take to complete. Chrome deletes can range from $500-$1500. Wrapping chrome bumpers, mirror caps, and/or door handles to any chrome delete can make the final cost jump.

How long will my wrap last?

Depending on the amount of wear from the daily use, exposure to outside elements and how well it's maintained the lifespan of a vehicle wrap is typically between 3-5 years. Horizontal surfaces such as hoods and roofs tend to age faster and is recommended be replaced between 1-3 years.

What brands of vinyl wrap do you use?

We'll wrap with just about any brand of vinyl we can get our hands on. There are positives and negatives to every type of vinyl out there and we'll do our best to guide you the correct brand and type of vinyl for your project. With that being said we try to stick with what we're comfortable with. Brands like 3M, Avery Dennison, Hexis, KPMF, Orafol are reputable vinyls that we suggest more often than others.

Is there any brand of vinyl that is exclusive to Elevated Wraps?

Yes! We have partnered with a company called Platinum Wrapping Film (PWF) and are the only wrap shop in the Greater Cincinnati area that has access to their line of films.

Will a vinyl wrap protect the paint on my vehicle?

Yes! Vinyl wrapping your car will protect your vehicle from small rock chips, bird droppings, and other minor scuffs and scrapes that can occur from daily use.

What if my car has been repainted, can it still be wrapped?

Yes! However, it cannot be warrantied and it cannot be wrapped while the freshly painted/clear coat surfaces are still curing, typically 45-90 days.

Will the vinyl wrap damage my car when I want to remove it?

No. While there is always a chance that vinyl can peel clear coat or paint when removing a vinyl wrap it is very rare. On rare occasions some vinyl can stain or yellow lightly colored paint which could require paint correction once the wrap is removed.

How do I care for my wrap?
When should I wash my vehicle?

Your vehicle should not be cleaned within the first 48 hours of the wrap being applied. After the two day period it is recommended to wash your vehicle every two weeks

Can I wax my vehicle?

Yes, you can wax your vehicle as long as the wax does not contain petroleum distillates (found in paste waxes).

How do I clean difficult spots?

You should spot clean contaminants such as bird droppings, bug splatter, or tree sap as soon as possible to avoid film damage. Soak several minutes with hot water then rinse thoroughly. You can also spot clean with isopropyl alcohol and a clean non-abrasive rag.

Can I take my vehicle through a car wash?

A brushless automatic car wash with just spray is acceptable. The automated brush wash is not recommended as the brushes may scratch the vinyl, catch and lift the edges of the wrap, reduce the gloss finish and/or create a failure point.

What should I do about gas or fuel spills?

If you get fuel or gas on the vinyl, wipe it off immediately with a damp paper towel. If fuel is on the vinyl too long it will degrade the vinyl. Make sure to hand wash the spot after.

What products should I avoid when cleaning my wrap?

You should not use solvents, oven cleaner, oil based cleaners, engine degreaser, or kitchen and bathroom cleaners to clean your vinyl.

Can I power wash my vehicle after it is wrapped?

Power washing may be used to clean however, aggressive washing can damage the vinyl. Excessive pressure during power washing can force water underneath the film. Water lessens the adhesion of the vinyl to the vehicle allowing the film to lift or curl these problems are then magnified by wind.
